The Villas of Avon condominium project has been a huge hit in the Stratford, Ontario community, as tenants have embraced the condo lifestyle in a neighbourhood that is within walking distance of all that the world-class town has to offer.
This new building, with a move-in date between November 2019 and early 2020, is aptly named Villas of Avon II. Situated at 255 John Street in beautiful Stratford, Ontario, it will feature another 50-unit, four-storey, boutique-style condo.
Tricar’s successful track record ensures that each suite is built with their award-winning design, craftsmanship and quality finishes.
This luxury condominium may even be an upgrade over the first.
As Scott Rocher, Sales Representative for the Villas of Avon says, The Tricar Group surveyed current tenants in the Phase One residence to maximize the quality and tenant experience of the second 50-unit building.
“We’ve listened to buyers, and potential buyers, and made changes based on their feedback,” says Rocher. “We have new floor plans for Phase Two, and we’ve incorporated tenants’ preferences for kitchen designs and bigger laundry rooms and storage areas.”
Another notable change in the new building, which was nearly 50 percent sold out after the first two months (as of late September), is more suites in the 1,200-1,300 square foot range. Those larger suites sold out very quickly in Phase One.
And the changes don’t stop there.
“We’ve got brand new choices of flooring styles and cabinetry,” says Rocher. “The imported granite or quartz counter tops are gorgeous. The common areas, which include a guest suite, have changed too. We made the gym larger, as more people are using that area.”
The gym is a fully-equipped fitness room, as many of the tenants at the Villas of Avon live active lifestyles.
The guest suite provides impressive and private accommodations where guests can stay overnight when they visit.
The demographic of the building’s residents ranges widely, from working professionals in their late 30’s and early 40’s to couples enjoying retirement. The average age is around the mid-to-late 50’s.
Interestingly, many Villas of Avon buyers originally hail from Stratford and choose to return home from various locales around the country to settle in the beautiful neighbourhood which sits on property that was once the former Avon School site at the corner of John and Caledonia Streets.
“I sold a unit to a gentleman who actually grew up on Caledonia Street,” says Rocher. “He hasn’t lived in the area in 25 years, but he grew up here and now he’s moving back home. Buyers may live in the GTA, Oakville, Burlington … I have buyers from as far away as British Columbia … but now they’re coming back to their roots.”
The location can’t be beat. The Villas of Avon II is just steps away from the water (the Avon River) and is within walking distance to parks, hospitals and grocery stores, as well as amenities like coffee shops and restaurants downtown – not to mention the world-renowned Stratford Festival theatre grounds.
The Tricar Group’s Villas of Avon development is all about offering tenants the condominium lifestyle with a taste of luxury and sophistication. Whether choosing a one bedroom, a one bedroom plus den, a two bedroom, or a two bedroom plus den suite, Rocher says that buyers will be thrilled with their living accommodations – and the hassle-free lifestyle that it entails.
“Everybody has the same goal. They want the Villas of Avon to be a great place to live, and they take a lot of pride in the building,” says Rocher. “They buy the lifestyle. They love the idea of being maintenance-free … no lawn care, no snow removal to worry about. It really is just care-free living.”
