With three new shows opening it’s no surprise that “Oedipus Rex” dropped off the list. It was replaced by newcomer to the list “The Alchemist.”

Directed by Antoni Cimolino and starring Festival favourites Jonathan Goad, Scott Wentworth, and Stephen Ouimette in his only appearance at Stratford this season, the show is receiving excellent reviews.
