The New Canadian Curling Club

Inspired by the local refugee resettlement program, this comedy is about immigration, community, and national identity.
When a small town arranges a Learn-to-Curl session to greet newcomers, things take a turn after the event planner fractures her hip. As a result, Stuart MacPhail, a champion curler is reluctantly thrust into the role of head coach, despite his strong views on immigrants.
