The New OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino Opens with Top Shows

After a 40-month delay due to the pandemic, Fallsview Casino is finally getting its new $94.1 million theatre open. The Niagara casino service provider (Mohegan) MGE Niagara Entertainment Inc. and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation named the new 5000-seater theatre OLG Stage.

It has 5000 seats and is the largest soft-seat theatre in Canada.

The theatre announced its first shows, so below are some highlights of what’s coming up at the OLG Stage in the upcoming months.

Blue Rodeo

The legendary Canadian band plays the OLG Stage on December 10th. Nothing could be better than Canadian icons performing live on stage during this festive season.

Tickets to the show start at $45 for the performance that begins at 8 pm.

Blue Rodeo has multiple Juno awards and is famous for leaving audiences with unforgettable live performances. One of the most exciting bands to see live, their sound is approachable and enticing to music fans, young and old alike.

Blue Rodeo started in the early 1980s and has a career spanning three decades. Greg Keelor and Jim Cuddy are the pioneers of the band. Their debut album was “Outskirts” in 1987. They followed up with several hit singles such as “Head over Heels,” Try,” and” Till I am Myself Again.” Their success followed them well into the 2000s, and they have five top 10 albums and a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame.

I Love The 90’s Tour

The 90’s Era revolutionized modern sound. Artists showed greater diversity and refined the previous decade’s music style. What ensued was masterpieces.

The era characterized by the Walkman comes to life again at the OLG arena on November 3rd. The tour features fan favorites Vanilla Ice, Young MC, Rob Base, and C+C Music factory.

The exhilarating artists are expected to bring the roof down at the Arena. Tickets start at only 45$.

With top tracks like “It Takes Two” and “Ice, Ice Baby,” expect smooth moves, electrifying groves, and unforgettable vibes. You’ll party like it’s 1999.

The Lumineers

The alternative folk band, the Lumineer, will grace the OLG Stage at 8:00pm on Sunday, November 6th. It will be an all-ages show. A guardian must accompany children under 12.

The Band from Denver is one of the hottest bands on the alternative charts. Their debut album hit number two on the Canadian charts and in the US. Their song “Ho Hey” is a hit single as well. The band is immensely talented, and their follow-up album “Cleopatra” led in charts in both USA and Canada.

With titles like “Nobody Knows” from the hit film “Pete’s Dragon,” this show will be a fun family affair.

Tickets start from $90 and can be found at Ticketmaster.

Joey Yung

Joey Yung is an internationally acclaimed vocalist who has won the Ultimate Best Female singer award and has sold over 22 million albums worldwide.

She graces the OLG Stage on November 20th and 21st, so you are guaranteed two nights of fantastic entertainment.

Joey Yung’s concert at the OLG Stage cements the arena’s status as the home of premier shows. She has 20-plus years in the music industry, and her melodious voice and fruitful music catalogue are etched in her fans’ lives.

Chinese Media has dubbed Yung the diva of Chinese Music.

Michael Bolton

December 16th is the date everyone is anticipating as the pop icon and multiple Grammy winner Michael Bolton will perform on the OLG stage.

Bolton’s classics such as “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,” “Said I Loved You, But I Lied,” “Time Love and Tenderness,” and “When a Man Loves a Woman” are some of the songs he is expected to perform at OLG Stage at Fallsview casino.

Michael Bolton has sold over 65 million records worldwide and has many individual accolades to his name. Reviews of his live performances have described him as nothing short of magnificent.

Bolton started his music career as a hard rock and heavy metal singer. He, however, was not successful in this genre. His big break came when he switched to the pop ballad genre. This is a show not to be missed.

Canada’s Got Talent

If you do not fancy Music shows and performances, then this is the perfect show for you to attend. “Canada’s Got Talent” is filming the audition tapings at the OLG center. The tapings are expected to be ten in number and occur from October 19th to October 23rd. Here you can experience magic comedy and talented acts for people auditioning for the show.
