The Grand Theatre’s “A Christmas Story” starts in previews Tuesday, November 24.

Enter below to win a family pack of 4 tickets and dinner for 4 at Aroma Mediterranean Restaurant on Richmond St.

The Grand Theatre’s “A Christmas Story” is based on the popular 1983 movie of the same name.

Set in 1939, the comical play celebrates a simpler time when families gathered around the dinner table and children’s Christmas wishes didn’t include cellphones, iPads and cash.

Straford Festival favourite Steve Ross plays the part of a grown up boy, Ralphie, looking back at his family during the holiday season. Below are some reviews from Ross’ previous performances at the Stratford Festival and The Grand Theatre.

The London Free Press on Steve Ross in “Shrek:”
A delicious blend of sensitivity, determination, fun and physicality that brings this tube-eared monster to life.”

The Toronto Star on Steve Ross in Stratford’s “The Man of La Mancha:”
Steve Ross’s Sancho Panza is a perfect illustration of how to play this classic character…he’s wonderful.

The Globe and Mail on Steve Ross in Stratford’s “Crazy For You:”
Steve Ross has better comic timing than a Rolex strapped to Jerry Seinfeld’s wrist

Ross returns to the Stratford Festival in 2016 to play Beaver in “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” and Burbage in “Shakespeare in Love.”

The Grand Theatre’s “A Christmas Story” promises to provide families with long lasting memories of screwball comedy that will tug at your heart strings.
