The winner of tickets to see see Margaret Atwood and Carole Pope in Stratford, with dinner at Revival House on Saturday Aug. 8th is Louise Morfitt Hall .

Being an avid reader of Canadian literature, I am very much looking forward to hearing Ms. Atwood speak. Her efforts in environmental causes are also very much appreciated and shared by me and many others.

What to say about Carol Pope?

I frequented several of her concerts back in the late 1970’s and to this day will, when alone, sing a few of her songs acapella.

She truly belongs in the “coolest chick ever” category.

Revival House, having recently undergone major renovations by new owners, should prove to be an exciting gastronomic evening. I have been eagerly awaiting their debut and am sure, judging by their menu, that they will rival the other fine dining establishments in the wonderful city of Stratford, a place I travel to 5 or so times a year to see plays, dine, take in the boat cruise, people watch and stay at several of the luxurious and welcoming bed and breakfasts.
