Our newest venture

Welcome to ShawFestReviews.

Five years ago we published Stratford Festival Reviews. The site has been a huge hit. So far this season it’s received 70,545 pageviews with a bounce rate of just 1.66% and an average visit duration of 4:10

I’ve launched this site not only to support the Shaw Festival but theatres everywhere.

Local Theatre

Every year more and more people like you visit this site. I get inspiring feedback from people who attend theatre, not just at Stratford and Shaw, but more importantly in their home town.

For many, it’s the local theatre that sparks their initial interest, and provides a supportive environment to help young people pursue their dreams.

I also get great feedback from the theatres and business that advertise on the sites, and I’m happy to help them build their businesses as they support mine (although in the interview you’ll learn that this site doesn’t make a profit).

Incidentally, I teach journalism at Western University, Canada. As much as possible I try to share my passion for the Arts and radio with my students.
