Cyber Monday at the Stratford Festival

By Keith Tomasek, December 2, 2019

In the ten years that I’ve been writing about the Stratford Festival, the Festival has never released a Cyber Monday Deal.

Historically speaking, only a limited number of tickets are available to the “general public” at this time. Currently, only “members” of the Festival can purchase the best tickets. Plebe’s like me only get access to “Bravo Zone” tickets. Here are the details from the Stratford Festival website:

“Tickets will be available to the general public as follows:
December 7 to 13, 2019 – One week early access (online and at the Box Office)
Friday, January 03 at 12pm (online)
Saturday, January 04 at 9 am (at the Box Office, in person or by phone)

Tickets for the Bravo zone at the Festival, Avon and new Tom Patterson theatres can be purchased right now by everyone! Log in now to book your tickets – available Bravo seats will be highlighted in yellow.”

This system is all very Patrician.

But now, thanks to the folks at Today Tix, you can purchase good seats, not the best seats, but good seats, at very reasonable prices starting at $24.

Today Tix is a partner with the Stratford Festival, so this is not a scalper or ticket reseller.

It is important to know that tickets purchased through Today Tix are not refundable or exchangeable.

Traditional arts journalism is in decline. Now more than ever, this independent website and our podcast fill a growing void. We've had over 1.5 million page views, and are grateful that you are here. We rely on readers — and a handful of advertisers who share our values — to make our work possible. When we raised funds for our podcast, The "Performers Podcast," the average donation from people like you was $96. Now we hope you’ll join us in augmenting our coverage of arts in the region by making a one-time donation today.
