Donny Most, is best known for his role as Ralph Malph on the hit TV show “Happy Days.” He’s currently appearing in Drayton Entertainment’s production of the hilarious Tony Award winning play “ART” at the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse. The production runs until October 20.
In my podcast with Donny Most he shares stories about working with “Happy Days” creator Garry Marshall who went on to develop other popular shows such as “Mork and Mindy” and more recently “Pretty Woman” and “The Princess Diaries.”
Most explained how Henry Winkler went against his director’s wishes to create a defining moment in the development of his character Fonzie, seen in this clip from “Happy Days.”
Here’s another great scene from “Happy Days” with Donny Most and Henry Winkler.
In addition to Most, the cast for “ART” includes Broadway performer Lee MacDougall who originated the role of Nick in the acclaimed Canadian musical “Come From Away,” playing the role in the initial Toronto production and for two years on Broadway.
Also in the cast is Ralph Small, who has participated in Sheridan College’s Canadian Music Theatre Project, Small’s also the Artistic Director at the Blue Water Summer Playhouse.
This trifecta of actors is led by Director Max Reimer.
