Brickenden 2017 winners

2017 Brickenden Awards. The Wolf Performance Hall in London, Ontario.

London’s theatre Community honored an outstanding year of local theatre at the 16th annual Brickenden Awards on Monday night. The Wolf Performance Hall was filled with the many players in London’s theatre community.

Theatre lovers of all ages and the event’s continuing success prove that London has a growing and flourishing theatre scene.

Calithumpian Theatre Company, which seeks innovation within local theatre, won the most awards for their work. Musical Theatre Productions’ version of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, which was held at the Grand Theatre, also won a bunch of awards. John Gerry was another big winner, including his second Outstanding Director award in a row.
