5 Stars: Nuanced, emotionally subtle and filled with first-class performances, the production, directed with intelligence and careful shading by Chris Abraham, is a gem at this year’s Stratford Festival.

John Mighton’s The Little Years may well be the best new play ever presented at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival...There’s a beautiful sense of proportion; an adulterous episode, that in theory should be life-altering, is presented with the wryness befitting something whose only significance will be in memory.
